Energized mirrors

So yest, I decided to give school a miss and accompanied my mom and dad to Segamat, my grandmother's village in Malaysia. It was somewhat a 2 hr drive up from JB. My mom and dad wanted to help my grandmother build a house for herself. Apparently she was given a plot of land by her dad,(my great-grandfather) but it was not developed. So the village where the plot of land has been identified as a village that will provide homestay facilities for tourists in the near future. The good thing is, the plot of land is like totally in the middle of the whole village. Its like 3 houses away from the village headman. Talk about good location.

And hope you feel better nek..

So we did the necessary stuffs and we also went to the hot spring. They actually pumped the hot water into 4 swimming pools. And on weekdays, only 2 swimmng pools are filled. The water is really damn hot! But it was quite a nice feeling soaking our legs in the water. Some uncles even soaked their whole selves in it. Too bad we didn't bring spare clothes. we drove back in the evening, washed the car in JB and entered singapore around 12.30am.. It was really mentally tiring driving back. I was averaging 130-14o km/h.. Could have gone faster but I was scared I would lose control as there were curves and I had to overtake huge lorries. The "push" at high speed was even stronger. But I was glad we made it alive.

Today had to work in the morning to help out my dad and boy was I feeling damn tired. Den was activated for mobilisation at 2pm. Field packs checked and it went quite smoothly. 2 hours dere and I was cleared. So nothing that bad happened. Came home to rest for awhile. Went to out to meet my classmates. In the end the usual suspects turned up. It was like me, rusdi, joan and rafika. So we went to buy some things to eat at teh tarik at yishun and we made our way to the bottle tree park. So we sat and we ate and we talked. We talked about anything. Like the future and what we wanna do.. But I like to do that. Just sit and talk..
Maybe next time can do small bbq at east coast and thon( i dunno the spelling!) Would be really fun.

I really hope monkey's break will come soon, which is next week and its only a break from projects. Her exams are still in june. Hahahah! I really miss her and when we were at the bottle tree park just now, it reminded me of her. Like how I acted like a mat rempit on the fake bullock cart and the ribcage of the dinosaur. I really miss meeting her, pinching her cheeks and just holding her hand. Its always taken for granted when she's here but this small small things do play a big part. I hope she can make it and I seriously hope we can build a good life together.
m getting sleepy and she's like waiting for me on the fone now. I think she can sleep any moment. Hahahahah!! Okay.. Bonne Nuit!

The Ranger Creed

Recognizing that I volunteered as a Ranger, fully knowing the hazards of my chosen profession, I will always endeavor to uphold the prestige, honor, and high esprit de corps of my Ranger Regiment.

Acknowledging the fact that a Ranger is a more elite soldier who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by land, sea, or air, I accept the fact that as a Ranger my country expects me to move further, faster and fight harder than any other soldier.

Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be. One-hundred-percent and then some.

Gallantly will I show the world that I am a specially selected and well-trained soldier. My courtesy to superior officers, neatness of dress and care of equipment shall set the example for others to follow.

Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country. I shall defeat them on the field of battle for I am better trained and will fight with all my might. Surrender is not a Ranger word. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my country.

Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight on to the Ranger objective and complete the mission though I be the lone survivor.

Rangers Lead The Way!
